Come on man, they do have a good D, but they have not played an offense like the Pats yet. So, I think the scores will be in the 30s for the Pats and around 17 for the Skins.

Jason C will probably throw 2-3 ints I say one gets returned for a td. Portis will fumble and everyone on this board should not be surprised with the A** kicking the skins will receive.

So you predict 5 touchdowns in the first half and then 1 in the second ?

Or are you just talking out of your A**, just because the Patriots gave your (Black and) Blue Stars an A** kicking.

And just to make it clear I'm NOT laughing WITH you.

I think it's real sweet how some many of you guys still want to believe we can beat NE. On the other hand, it's a little silly to pay heed to their O and not their D (better than ours in every way). I'll give the Pats as much credit on D as they get on O:

Patriots 33
Skins 6

Our D will be touted for holding them under 40 pts, so this is a favorable prediction. We never score a TD in this game (never even get in the red zone, but Suisham kicks a couple). Portis IMO is hurt in some way already and has been gimpy so far. I think he gets seriously injured in this game and Betts replaces him. With Betts getting the rest of the carries and beginning to feel a rhythm again we will see the ground game reestablished beyond the NE.

it sickens me that half the fans have no faith in our team .. not even a shroud of hope... if we do lose, it's because of all you negative thinking fakers.

They think that they all know so much about football so they had better pick what ESPN says will happen.......

In all honesty, no one can truly predict results from week to week. If we could predict the future then why would we bother watching. I among everybody else here wants the Skins to put a whoopin on NE. That is thinking with your heart. In reality, neither team has shown evidence of that being a realistic possibility. That is thinking with your head.

Guys listen we are probably playing the best team ever. This team has a legitimate chance to go 16-0 no other teams can say that. I live in Florida and I saw them destroy Miami. Obviously, we are alot better than Miami but the Pats are just that good they are going to win 42-24. And that is respectable against them.

Don't ever believe the hype. That's how you get in trouble whether the hype is for you or against you. Ask Mike Tyson AFTER he fought Buster Douglas, and then on the flip side ask Buster Douglas BEFORE he fought Iron Mike.

If I was the redskins I would be pumped up to play a team like the Patriots, that everyone is saying might be the best ever. All I would say with a game face is - wait after the game. But that's just me.

Lets be realistic... our chances of winning are pretty slim. Maybe if our running game magically gets restored.......

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions

NE 21
Was 22: Tie ball game until we get a safety in the 4th that was set up by a beautiful punt.

I'm not scared of playing and losing to NE. I would rather lose this game, and get a win for the GB game. NE is a top notch ball team, and they are playing big time football. There is no reason why they shouldn't win this game, but there are several reasons why we should be able to upset them. London Fletcher will have a career day, and Taylor will not be dropping any Ints.

Nuff Said
