Okay, instead of me defending the Cowboys (and thanks for being nice), I will just wait until Sunday and by the end of the day, one of us will be wrong.

Come on man, they do have a good D, but they have not played an offense like the Pats yet. So, I think the scores will be in the 30s for the Pats and around 17 for the Skins.

How and the Hell are they going to score 17 points? You dont get points for just running the ball the whole game you have to get in the endzone. If the skins can run the ball so it runs all the clock down they could possible hold NE to a few points and still lose.

It's obvious you think our offense is garbage. So, seriously, how many points do you think we'll score? Do you seriously think we'll only score 3 points?

NE gave up 14 points to the Jets (29th ranked offense) and 28 points to Miami who played with a no-name QB (Lemon). Not to mention that they have not held an opponent to less than 7 points all year. You're crazy if you really think we won't score a touchdown.

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions

I was trying to figure out why all the 'Pokes fans were hijacking this thread, which in no way concerns them. Then I remembered:

1) Bye week in Dallas and they are getting bored.

2) They got ripped a new one by the Pats and are REALLY hoping the Skins take it hard so they won't feel so bad about themselves.

3) Cowboys fans not from Texas (I can at least deal with the locals, they have no choice) are just a bunch of bandwagon riders anyway so they just went and found the top game of the week and decided to ride the NE wagon for a few days.

Go find your own forum and come back in Nov. when the Cowboys are actually involved, or at least offer some intelligent analysis. You are adding absolutely nothing to the conversation.

Exactly. Not all the Cowboys fans posting are to blame, but the ones who are make their fanbase look like morons who know absolutely NOTHING about football, and ride the jock of the whoever's popular at the time.

Please prove us wrong.

Just because they've destroyed everybody, including the Cowboys, doesn't mean they are going to destroy the Skins.

In any case, you guys almost got shocked by the Bills, Skins almost got shocked by the Cards, and the Patriots can almost get socked by the Skins. They play the game for a reason and your 42-3 prediction is very asinine and unintelligent.

p.s. I very much look forward to the Skins fucking your Cowboys up.

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions

Guys listen we are probably playing the best team ever. This team has a legitimate chance to go 16-0 no other teams can say that. I live in Florida and I saw them destroy Miami. Obviously, we are alot better than Miami but the Pats are just that good they are going to win 42-24. And that is respectable against them.

Pat: 27
Redskins: 21

Lets be realistic... our chances of winning are pretty slim. Maybe if our running game magically gets restored.......

NE 21
Was 22: Tie ball game until we get a safety in the 4th that was set up by a beautiful punt.

I'm not scared of playing and losing to NE. I would rather lose this game, and get a win for the GB game. NE is a top notch ball team, and they are playing big time football. There is no reason why they shouldn't win this game, but there are several reasons why we should be able to upset them. London Fletcher will have a career day, and Taylor will not be dropping any Ints.

Two career games in a row for Fletcher? Sounds good to me. Brady could have an off week this week, playing the best D so far this year against them. Sean Taylor will get a pick this week going up for a deep ball against Moss. Our D will keep us within 7 through mid-fourth quarter, but...

Suprise!
The skins offense will take charge late in the game and Nail the pats with 2 TD's in the 4th to put the game away late, shocking the football world.

Skins 31
Pats 21

It could happen.

And I've heard a lot of people say that Gibbs and Williams have been going conservative all year with this game in mind, but we know Gibbs would never do that.

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions

If it's a blowout I think we'll be on the short (very short) end of that. Something like 27-7

But if we can keep it close, then I think we can win. Since we haven't lost by more than a TD in the last 10 games. I'll say we squeeze out the upset 20-16
