Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

Brady Needs to score 1 more touchdown to keep up with his four touchdowns per game average. So I'm guessing they are gonna try (scratch the try) score again

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

I wonder what Gibbs tells his players after this loss?

I mean I dont think there's anything someone can say to make a player feel better after this...

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Exactly, and that loss to the Giants put us at 4-3 as well.

Quake, you have to be kidding me. We didn't have the injuries we now have back in '05, or the execution problems either. That '05 Giants loss was also a gift to the Giants since their owner passed away. Today was a total ass kicking given to us by the best football team on earth. We are a mediocre team, with the exception of the defense, which is now totally depleted in the backfield. Jets lost to the Bills today and will also be pissed next weekend. We either can get mad from this game or just tuck our tails between our legs, which worries me. This team hasn't shown much character all season.

So if you think all hope is gone for the year, do you plan on watching any more games this year?

Never say never. But it doesn't look good right now with all the injuries. This has the taste of '04 for me to be honest. A season that could have been a good one but the offense was poor and rather inefficient. I don't see us beating the Cowboys at all, losing to the Gmen in NY, and probably will beat Philly here as long as we get healthy. We are just too beat up man and our passing game is the pits. You just can't expect the offense to do a complete 180 do you?

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

is it time to clean house? I mean cmon. I see the same thing happening with my NY yankees. Get rid of moss, portis and about 1/2 the coaching staff. Its time for Dan Snyder to use common sense

why? What upside do you see on the offensive end? I think the question really needs to be asked, has Gibbs lost it? I love gibbs and have for 20 years but cmon. has the game passed him by? yeah we came into this game 4-2 but dont forget we could have easily been 2-4
