Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
So, I realize this is the Patriots, but 24 points in the first half? They're on pace to put 520 yards and 48 points on us and we're on pace to put up 180 yards and 0 points. 3.1 yards per pass attempt to go with 3 turnovers?
I thought I would be able to deal with this loss, but I also thought that we would be competitive. This is simply ridiculous and I think I am going to be sick. |

Hey Sheriff what did you expect? The past couple games we were not exactly great, especially at home against the Cards. I think all of the Warpath nation is getting ready to hurl, and with good reason. If we don't rebound next weekend vs the Jets and lose that one, might as well flush another season down the tubes. To be honest I am losing faith fast in Gibbs and his ability to lead a team. If we do falter this season the rest of the way, I hope he steps down so we might be able to ink Marty if he is available. I don't want Gibbs to coach next season just to hand the HC job off to Williams who isn't HC material. |

The Vrabel and Moss TD's should have been FG's. Ggrilliamssss has to take the blame on the Vrabel score, though.

If we lose to the Jets the sky is going to come down to earth pretty quick. I would like for Gibbs to stay indefinitely, but since he is slated to go after '08 and give the HC job to Williams, I rather him take off early so maybe Snyder gets a coach that is truly hungry. Saunders is just here for a big payday, Williams is a great D coordinator, but his stint with Buffalo as HC has to make you wonder. Execution is the big reason we have been stinking it up the past 8+ quarters of game time, but unimaginative coaching also has played a role also. |
