What program helps people go to college for free?
I'll have to think about the name, neither my wife, nor myself can remember the name...the program makes you take a personality test and if you seek the top 2 areas the test comes up with, the state will pay for your college.
I took the test about 7 or 8 years ago, it came up with environmental and science. It wasn't to my college credits at the time (in finance) so I wasn't accepted unless I wanted to change my degree and lose most of my credits. If I was willing to change, they would have paid for me to go to NMSU.

See, I don't agree that there are "plenty" out there, I think there are a very select few.

Never heard of such a thing, I'd be interested to see something to back up this claim.

Like I said, I'll ask around...I'll come up with it, cause I have a buddy that did take advantage of it. He'll know what the name of it is.

Just might be a reason people don't use this program. Tough to take advantage of it when you've never heard of it.

There's a huge difference between free tuition and going to college for free.

I just did a quick google on free college and found this article: More programs offer free tuition - US News and World Report

Exactly! There is much more cost to going to college than just tuition.

Like what?
You can take night classes you know, that way it doesn't interfere with your job. There are always excuses. If you had free tuition you wouldn't figure out how to make it work?
