Without Taylor the defense is very average. The schemes we were using were designed around his abilities. It will be tough to deal with the Cowboys passing game with that limitation. I can't imagine a worse injury to have going in to this game.

If we are to have a chance we need Dallas to mail this one in like they did against Buffalo AND get some extra luck to go with it.

Is it just me, or does it seem that whenever we lose just one guy on defense everything falls apart? Last year it was Springs, and the D completely collapsed. Against Philly, Sean Taylor goes out, and the Eagles are running up and down the field practially at will.

Last year our D was awful, regardless of Springs. This year the D is really inconsistent and looks like it will have serious problems. Then again, they've got injuries to Rogers, Smoot, Taylor, Washington, and Griffin.
