He's out, they won't hold a roster spot for him. His Redskin career is over, I don't think her ever broke a sweat and boy did he ever rob the Skins.

Yeah Llyod was indeed the biggest bust of Gibbs II. Patten was an all pro here compared to Llyod. Sad thing is it is a total loss. I can't see anyone wanting him in a trade now unless he was like an additional freebie along with a high round pick just to get rid of him. HE should have stayed with the 49ers. He might have still been productive there since he thrived in that system.

Re: B. Lloyd Possibly Out For The Season

Compare and Contrast:

What would be more beneficial to the Redskins for the rest of the 2007/08 season:

Brandon Lloyd on the field for 90% of the offensive snaps for the rest of the season OR

The return of Steve Spurrier to the position of head coach of the team?

Frankly, even if the price of not having to deal with B. Lloyd for the rest of the season meant a reincarnation of the Ol'Ball Coach on the sidelines, I think I'd take that deal.

The one thing you have to say about Lloyd is that he isn't one of the "has-beens" that the Skins have signed in free agency over the past 7-8 years. The reason for that is that he's a "never-was"...
