Re: Redskins at Bucs game thread
Its time for the Kool Aid drinkers to move on and admit that Gibbs 2.0 is a total failure.

Re: Redskins at Bucs game thread
Name me 1 damn coach that could make this team better than what it is with the SLEW of Pro bowl caliber players that are injured. I can't name one. Even if you're a Belichik dick sucker, you should realize that our injuries are too massive in many cases. What Joe has done is made this team a competitive team week in and week out dispite our shortcomings (injuries / young qb leader).

Re: Redskins at Bucs game thread
LOL...whatever...did you happen to notice his mini collapse after losing a couple guys to injury???? I love Dungy, but come on.
The correct answer is NO ONE. You can't lose that many pro bowl caliber players and be a great team...just can't happen.

Have there been mistakes made by Gibbs, absolutely? But, I think a majority of the problems have been with the coordinators and Gibbs' biggest mistake has been being to loyal to them and I think he was too loyal to Brunnel also.

Make your excuses for him all you want. Ultimately the head coach must bear the weight of a losing team. This is a losing team. Gibbs has the talent here, but poor coaching, poor personnel decisions and poor execution = another season of mediocrity. This team is 8-8 at best, and if that's the best he can do, then I say hire a GM and Russ Grimm. |

Are Greg Williams and Al Saunders good coordinators, I don't think so. Have the poor personnel decisions been their fault, yes. Lloyd and Randle El were hand picked by Saunders and Archuletta was hand-picked by GW. Gibbs isn't going to throw those guys under the bus, but I've said in other posts, after the season, Gibbs needs to go into the front office as the GM with complete control and a new coach needs to be brought in. Is Russ Grimm the answer at Head Coach, I don't know. Arizona isn't blowing the doors of the offensive stat categories and Pittsburgh didn't last year either.
