What is a Fan / Homer / Realist

These days I want the Redskins to win not to rub it into my friends who are Eagles fans or Giants fans or whatever, but to rub it into fellow Redskins fans. The ones (all on this site) really who refuse to allow me to enjoy a single minute of being a Redskins fan. For three hours every Sunday I like to get away from the realities of the world (job deadlines, family issues, financial concerns, etc.) and just root for my team. They let me down plenty, but they also have brought me tremendous joy for over two decades.

But heaven forbid I should ever feel good about a single damn thing the Redskins do because there will always be some other fellow Redskins fan to piss all over my joy. I hated that we lost today, but I loved (save for the two INTs) the way our offense moved in the second half and the way our Defense absolutely dominated.
