I think we are talking about that in several other threads.

But the reality is when you get to this time of year you have to look at what other teams are doing and how that impacts the playoff scenarios.

Although i agree with this comment...one can't help but think about the playoffs since we have been very competitive with the NFC elite. Green Bay won after late fumble recovery...Dallas was taken to the last drive...Tamp the same...and Seattle is a up and down team..

we need to take care of the bills and bears and then we can talk what if and playoff scenario!

You are absolutely correct, you should NOT have to worry about other teams. But that is simplly not the case here. Washington has put themselves in a position now where they will have to watch other teams and hope for help outside of the organization.

If the Skins were at 8-3, 7-4 or even 6-5 then there would be more control of your own destiny. But there is a quagmire of 5-6 NFC teams trying to get a WC and the fact of the matter is of all those teams, the Redskins are the only team sitting on a 3 game skid.

This team has always been a force in December, much like the Giants have crumbled in December. Washington needs to win the month of December...period or you can go ahead and start a thread about Aprils NFL Draft.
