I noticed that too. He seemed to stop this year, I think it's because he quit wearing those huge shoulder pads he wore a lot last year. If you can catch any highlights of the Minnesota game from last year - the season opener take a look at his shoulder pads. They look HUGE.

Part of me thinks that he didn't even wear shoulder pads, just a jersey and a cup.
