Re: Guilty pleasures: TV shows
Sometimes we will set up the TV trays and watch TV while we eat dinner. I have found its not a good idea to watch the Food Net Work when your eating. It always seems like they are cooking something that look way better than your eating. On night around 10pm the FNW was going around to different states to try the ribs of the well known places for ribs. Before I knew it me and my wife were craving ribs so I headed out to Farmfreash which usually has them prepared. So at 11:00pm we are laying in bed eating ribs.

Re: Guilty pleasures: TV shows
Okay being married I get sucked in to watching some pretty lame crap. Of all of them I actually like Ugly Betty. Desperate Housewives is cool but it is starting to annoy me now. I Love New York 2 really makes me mad everytime I watch it. But I cannot stop. It's freaking horrible. She is so unattractive to me, and what blows me is that she acts as if she is the shit. I thought Flavor Flav was dumb, but this broad is DUMB ! I would've been kicked off in the first 5 mins.

Re: Guilty pleasures: TV shows
My wife has the Food Network and HGTV on all the time, so you start watching those shows because it's what's on. And yes, Giada's neckline seems to plummet with each passing season. I wonder if that'll change after she gives birth...
Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares US Version is horrible, but I watch it anyways. The UK Version on BBC America is so much better. I don't watch too much "new" TV. The animation shows on Fox, My Name is Earl, The Office and 30 Rock, Lost is about it. However, I tend to migrate to syndicated older sitcoms like The Cosby Show, Roseanne, Home Improvement, Everybody Loves Raymond, etc.

Re: Guilty pleasures: TV shows
Can't believe how many people here watch HGTV and Food Network.
Scripps Networks baby, representin'! Oh, I work for Scripps, in case that all seems weird.

Re: Guilty pleasures: TV shows
Oh. Another show I like is competitive eating contests. I've actually only managed to see a couple, I wish they'd show it more.
I love watching that little Asian woman (not sure her name) but her nickname is the Black Widow. Shes actually from Germantown. But on Thanksgiving I watched her 2 bowls of like... 8 of those canned cranberry jelly. She beat out 11 other guys I think. Watching 11 grown men and 1 woman eat bowls of jelled cranberry and then 1 guy puked. It made me physically ill. ...But yet I couldn't stop watching. Then like 8 guys had a race to see who could eat the most of a 20lb turkey. The winner ate something like 6-8lbs. And the funniest part is that most of the competitors are the most fit and trim people you'll ever see. Crazyness.

Re: Guilty pleasures: TV shows
I just watched Last Man Standing on Discovery Channel for the first time. I thought it was pretty cool and wish I had seen it before. I rely on my wife to remind when shows that I like come on tv. For those of you that like ultimate-style competitions, this is a pretty good show.
