Re: Reed Doughty: Excellent Tackler
A response and a question...
My response is, Reed Doughty is a 2nd year player from a Division 1-AA Northern Colorado. He DEFINITELY deserves credit for his play considering everything (ST, his personal life, and adjustment to this game speed). At his pace from the passed 6 games, he'd definitely have a 100 tackle season over 16 games. This is actually not such a great thing. Safeties with 100-120 tackles in a season means something is missing from your interior d-line or linebackers... which lead to my question... What happened to Rocky McIntosh??? First 8 games - 67 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 FF Last 6 games - 19 tackles, 0 sacks, 1 FF (Yes, he didn't play most of the game last night but I had noticed his lack of production before that)
