Man that really sucks! Sorry to hear it.

Not that it helps, but at least nobody got hurt. With a little time and distance hopefully you'll realize it's just stuff and as long as you and your family are alive and healthy it's really not too big of a deal.

Yeah, I'm very pleased about that. I mean, look at what happened to Sean, just kids breaking in to steal stuff, someone surprises them and they shoot. I'm very glad I wasn't there. It's not like the stuff can't be replaced, but it does suck. Unfortunately, we still have valuable stuff in the house and I went ahead and moved all of mine out. While we're gone, my 32" went to my gf's place (safe on campus apt) and my roommate's 50" went home with him. Sucks that it puts us in that situation, but I want to get out of our lease so that nothing does happen.

Thats the right perspective. I was robbed out of my dvd colelction ps2 and life long basketball card colelction in 04. I was putting together an 86 fleer set that I had bought card by card over the years. The sentimental value of the cards hurt the most many of them I had since I was a child.

My heart goes out to you..enjoy your friends and family over the holidays and eventually everything will work out.
