Risk or Reward Albert Haynesworth???

Here are team needs the way I see it:

1. Defensive line
2. Wide receiver/s
3. Offensive line
4. Defensive backs
5. Running back

The Redskins need to pay draft attention to the lines [O and D]. We've been working on the cheap with finds like Stephon Heyer and Anthony Montgomery. We can put off selecting an O-lineman for another year with Pete Kendall in the roster, but we need a pass rush from a down lineman even with improved coverage by the secondary.

So, yes, if a talent like Albert Haynesworh is available, we should take a look.

Cap room is a factor and the Redskins may be in even worse shape than usual next season. Shawn Springs will be gone. CP may be gone. There will be a cap hit to release Brandon Lloyd. Some high profile vets [Samuels?] may choose not to restructure their contracts and could be traded or released.

So, the Skins could be forced to mine the undrafted free-agent market -- again. But what they need is elite talent, like Haynesworth, and the cap room to sign them.
