That is such bs. I heard that Glenn did not think anything of it up until a few of his teammates suggested it to him. I think Landry was just playing hard, nothing that he did struck me as dirty by any means. Why don't they focus on things like Roy Williams taking people and tackling them out of bounds way after the play is over..... I believe that the play was going on on the field when Landry was playing.

This is completely ludicrous. I saw Glenn's comments last night, but withheld judgment until I knew which play he was talking about (I figured it was the one being referenced here). I have to believe that if he goes back and looks at the tape, he will admit (probably never publicly) that it was indeed a clean play.

If anything, Landry tried to slow himself down so that he would not hit Smoot or Glenn. If you look the replay from the endzone, the way Landry's hands and knees hit the turf, it's obvious he was trying to slow himself down. Look at his right knee when it hits the ground. If he was going for Glenn's knees, he would not have kept his leg bent; he would have allowed it to straighten, which would have reduced resistance.

Another thing I read, is that Glenn hinted that he had heard before the game that Landry was after him. Absolutely ridiculous.

That's the biggest bunch of crap. If Laron Landry were trying to play dirty and hurt Terry Glenn, Terry Glenn would be on crutches after that game. Don't give me this, "he was trying to play a little dirty" bs, he could have really hurt if he wanted to at any point, especially on that play, if he pops his shoulders up at all, then it would have hit him in the knee, or he could have just not dove for the ball and body rocked him, he did neither, it was an innocent mistake.

I agree. The refs don't seem to hesitate on calling unnecessary roughness calls especially on Landry. I think if Landry was intentionally trying to hurt Glenn the refs would've thrown the flag. I mean if you intentionally go for the knees, don't you get a chop block or a clipping call? The refs thought it wasn't intentional, and it obviously wasn't.

It is just part of him. He complains and he is scared. It has given me good laughs in the past. THe sean taylor play where he puts up his hands is classic. Fuck terry glenn and fuck the cowboys. I don't know why I sometimes start to ease up to the cowboys. I hate them. I hate Romo complaining. I hate that they actually are making a deal of this when they have one of the top 3 dirtiest players on defense. Roy Williams can ride players like horses but landry can't slide.

Honestly, at the point of contact you can see that landry just protects himself. I think he could have hit his knee with his helmet if he was trying to hurt him. As Landry said himself on redskins lunch he was trying to make a play on the ball. To all the boys fans out there...actually watch the play. Landry was actually trying to make a play on the ball, as a safety, i believe thats what he's supposed to do. He also was coming in pretty damn fast and the last time i checked when you're running pretty fast on a wet field you can't stop very quickly.

Also, we could bring up Roy Williams and his "questionable" tactics. So boys fans, come on, watch the replay. I can't believe this is even a topic of discussion.
