He didn't insult you. He just made an observation. Insulting woulda been like, "You're such an idiot for not using apostrophes". Smooty is a good guy. And nobody has banned you for your opinion. We just strongly disagree. Just like you're allowed your opinion, we are allowed to dissent.

I don't think he's being attacked. Smooty pointed out he had bad grammar. I don't think he doesn't have a reason to feel the way he does because he's pointing out what he feels is the reason people are "vilifying" JC, I just don't agree with it. But if someone outright called him an asshole, I definitely would defend him.

Personal attack?

There's nothing brave about making assumptions about the opinions of others

You could have just said "I think we saw the real Todd Collins yesterday and I believe that he is best suited as a back-up at best for this team" Instead, you threw stuff in like "He waited until the last game to throw interceptions" and "Everyone is vilifying Campbell."

What exactly does that mean? Contributing to the site renders your posts immune from being questioned? That your opinions deserve more respect? Not sure why you felt the need to mention that.
