According to that, Gibbs will stay on as a "special adviser" to Snyder. Whatever that means.

There will also be a news conference at 3:00PM.

That means he'll sit in Snyder's suite once or twice a year and explain some of the finer details of coaching throughout the game. So, basically, nothing.

I suppose it could be a good thing, depending on how it works out. What Snyder probably needed all along was an experienced, mature adviser to tell him when he's goofing up.

I guess we'll see how much water it really holds.
