Yet Another Opinion That Skins Need A GM

I have been watching the GM debate churn for some time now. It strikes me that debating whether the Redskins should have a GM is rather like debating whether the Federal Government should have income taxes.

Bottom line is that it is not our call (as loyal fans) to make. We may be vested in our interest and support for the team but that is a far as it goes - we don't get a valid vote on this issue.

Dogtag - I know where you are coming from - fans could stop going to the games but luckily for Synder the fan base is so strong here we could have another 15 years of losing and the stadium would still be sold out.

We are stuck with Synder whether we like it or not and since he is still really young and making so much money he is not going anywhere.

Of course, but we're on this board to give our opinions, no more or less really, and this issue is no different from any other in that regard. I understand why people are tired of it, it's up there w/Lavar, Ramsey/Brunell & hypothetical vet min. free agents.

My only intent in responding to this article is that there are signs of a philosophical change in direction for the front office & the writer even alludes to that. Rather than argue whether we need a GM, I'd just like to say I look forward to seeing if Danny/Vinny & the new HC (Williams!) can draft well & make sound decisions in free agency. I feel good about their chances, so I'm not worried about the lack of a conventional GM.

Well I think that is the case with about 99% of the threads discussed on this site but thanks for pointing that out.

we dont get a vaild note on any issue as fans, and there is no issue that is our call. That is the point of this website.
