I know it is the offseason, but I am surprised on how lax the mods have been on threads lately. Maybe the thread from during the season about proper thread starting should be brought back up. I now its not my place to make such decisions, just my opinion; and for the record I am in no way trying to criticize the mods, you all do a great job here.

Quite frankly, a lot of it is just because we're kind of tired of it. As mentioned in another post in another thread, people need to start being more accountable for their own actions here. The mods shouldn't have to spend their time cleaning up the messes of those who consistently ignore the guidelines of the site.

It's a shame because we have had some good threads and discussions in recent weeks, but unfortunately the crap stands out. Because it is the off-season and because of the above mentioned we probably have been a bit lax, but zero tolerance policies are going to start being in full effect.

Matty, anything to add?

I agree with everything you've said, you all do enough n shouldn't have to monitor that crap, and I share your frustration. I appreciate your response.

Nothing to add really other than the fact the mods here have day jobs and we don't always have the time to review every thread/post for quality control. We do our best.

It's not only the mods jobs, but everyone here as well. If you see some crap, feel free to point it out to us.
