Well, G.W. is a Buddy Ryan disciple. Admittedly, not the same thing as a blood relation, but, more than once, GW has indicated his admiration for Buddy and his coaching methods.

If GW isn't staying, I think Rex would be a good hire (w/ a disclaimer). Ryan's system is a variation on his father's as is GW's so the personnel would be less of an issue. My biggest concern would be the lack of discipline displayed by Ryan's players. He is a large part of the whole "thug" atmosphere at Baltimore. Not sure how that would mesh the personality of our players.
