Not every coodinator w/ good press works out - and like QB's, there is a lot of luck involved. Tomlin and Payton are the exception, not the rule.

Just 'cause someone is an up and comer doesn't mean they're good.

Well thats kind of what I'm saying. Its not like the Skins have been getting boffo results with the retreads they have been hiring as head coach so why not try something new? If it works great, the Skins have a successful young coach who might stick around for more than 4 years and build something. If he doesnt work out, oh well, its more losing like the past 15 years.

In a nut shell, the results cant get much worse than the past 15 years so try a new direction and see what happens. Its not like a new young coach would be messing a championship dynasty.
