Yeah, they spent a whole $7 on it. In other words, a beer at FedEx. Give me a break, I can't decide what's worse, the people screaming about selling their season tickets, or the people getting so self-righteous about THOSE people.

Even WaPo has characterized the fan reaction as overwhelmingly negative. According to them, most people want Williams and at the very least want nothing to do with Fassel. At a certain point you'll have to deal with the fact that it's not just a handful of stupid morons who disagree with you and do not want anything to do with Fassel.

my whole thing about this is , if you are going outside of the organization for a head coach, why not try and throw some money out at coaches who are worth a damn. Cower, (i know I'll get slammed for this one) but i'll say it anyway, Jimmy Johnson. I know Danny doesn't worry about money, and it would take a chunk to get either one of them, but they are far better than Fassell.

I wouldn't even be opposed to Russ Grimm..

I know, that latest blog entry is pretty disheartening ... as is the fact that we currently have like four threads discussing the same topic, each with numerous side arguments (Wade Phillips sucks! Nah ah! ... Everyone thought Gibbs would lead the Skins to the SB when he returned! Nah ah!). I just don't understand why the job hasn't been given to Williams! He is the guy everybody wants. He is the guy that can & will continue what Gibbs started! Hiring Fassel would just take us back to square 1, in a very bad way.
