Well if you wanted continuity in the defense, this is a way to do it. I don't think Williams would have stayed as DC, so Blache makes sense. I think it'd be crazy to think that a HC hasn't been hired, b/c it would be insane to hire a DC/OC w/o the coaches input. But given than Williams is out and Fassell doesn't seem to be the candidate either...there has got to be another unknown candidate. But who? Cowher? Billick? Schottenheimer? I know those are crazy possibilities, but I just can't believe that there is no HC selected already.

I expect in Danny's mind everyone is still a candidate. Even Williams, I mean what if all the other candidates dry up or rebuff him? I think if he decided Williams was still the best guy he would go out and get him after the superbowl. I'm not saying I expect it, just speaking of Snyder's typical mindset.

I doubt any name is off the table.
