Soon-to-be-hire? Larry Brooks as the D-Line coach

Wouldn't the obvious answer to all this lead to a coach that is currently under contract, and has already voiced his choices for a staff to Snyder so he can line them all up in advance?

If so, I would suspect it's an offensive minded coach, since a new offensive coordinator was brought in, while the defense, apart from Gregg Williams has been left intact by the front office.
