damn I read a lot of things I didn't know about Monk... I really hope he makes it this year. Like it says in the article "he needs to be judged in the era in which he played, just like Hall of Famer Lynn Swann’s paltry 336 catches (604 fewer than Monk) need to be judged in that era". He deserves it...
