The Coordinators

[SmootSmack]

I really like Blache and still think he was robbed by the Niners when they hired Dennis Erickson to be their head coach instead of him. I had actually (along with Daseal I think) endorsed him as Gibbs' successor over Williams a couple of years ago.

But that was then, this is now. I understand that he's well respected by the players, fellow coaches, and front office. And I know that his promotion was highly recommended.

But, clearly he's not looking at the long term here so you have to wonder if it was the best move to wave our "continuity" flag with Blache.

I suspect though (somewhat educated guess) that one of his tasks over the next year or two is to develop Kirk Olivadotti into a defensive coordinator.

By the way, is it just me or does "The Coordinators" seem like it's going to turn into the modern day version of "The Aristocrats"

"Blah, blah, blah, insert dirty joke, blah, blah, blah, vulgarity, blah, blah, blah, sick, twisted, throw up in your mouth visual, blah blah blah" "What do you call these guys?" "The Coordinators!"
