One thing that's getting overlooked about this Super Bowl win by the Giants is how badly they shut down Maroney. That D line doesn't just rush the passer, they stuff the run on the edges.

That is Daniels' strength.

I do agree that we need a better rush off the edge in 2008, especially since Blache is not as likely to blitz as often as GW did. But we must not forget that any replacement for Daniels needs to play the run equally well, while also representing an upgrade as a pass rusher.
