Why do people "hate" Eli? He's just not a "hateable" guy.
He led the game winning drive for a touchdown in the Super Bowl against what many people have said was the best team ever. What more do people want from the kid? |

This one dude in the crowd would yell something out every time one of them walked up. Most of it was good natured if not funny. Then Eli walks up w/his girl, and dude starts heckling him - "Eli, you'll always be a Charger!" It was kind of funny but he sounded so serious. That's the only reason I can think of that people hate on Eli so much, that he didn't want to play for SD. J. Elway had a similar experience when he didn't want to play for the colts, but his career turned out ok. |
