2) I do put some stock in what Jason LaCanfora reports since he is the beat writer for a legit paper like the Post. I don't know that it is really fair to say he is trying to be a psychic. He's a serious reporter and certainly has more access than most of us do. I should remind myself sometimes, though, that he can have an anti-Snyder tone at times. Sally Jenkins is a whole other story, and I wouldn't put her and LaCanfora in the same boat.

You sound so much like another Gamecock who is well known and a highly respected blogger/moderator/commentator over on Hailredskins.com.

There are three things to know about the media, especially the media in DC.
1: They will pick apart everything!
2: Patience is not a virtue most of them subscribe to.
3: As long as there is gridlock on the Beltway they will change their opinions/stances
about the Redskins.
