I think the reason he signs one year deals is because he doesn't know if he wants to return the next year. And it's pretty obvious he's comfortable with signing one year deals, and from the looks of it he's happy with things the way they are.

It's not about any uncertainty on his part. That's just the way he does it. He's basically said that once the season ends, he usually just sits around and waits for the Redskins to call.
