For the NFL overall I think it would be bad. In our little corner of the world though, in the NFC East, it would be fine. The Cowboys, Giants, Redskins, and Eagles are all large market teams and would be capable of competing with one another financially. The division would be a perennial powerhouse and constantly very competitive.
But the division could be a perennial powerhouse under a salary cap too. It's a horrible thing for the NFL overall, IMO.

Guys when it comes to the Skins I don't care about anything but us. I'm EXTREMELY greedy and I'm happy to admit it. I feel sick every time we lose and when we win I can't help but smile. I don't care about the Bills or Packers I care about the Skins. That being said if this does happen we are going to DOMINATE. Danny and the front office haven't exactly done the best job with getting the right players and the cap. But now it will come down to is he willing to spend the money? We all know what the answer to that is! So lets be the Yankees or Sox (2000 era) of the the NFL. I'm all for no cap.
