I am astonished that BL isn't running away. WE GAVE UP DRAFT PICKS FOR HIM. End of conversation.

Deion Sanders. EX-COWBOY. Not that all ex-Cowboys are bad (Calvin Hill, for example), but Deion, aside from Michael Irvin, may have been the most hated Cowboy. Then we sign him? I couldn't pull myself to root for him and he rarely gave us a reason to.

I hear ya. I cannot stand Deion. I was very mad when he signed with the Skins. On the first day of the 2000 training camp, when Deion ran out onto the field, I was in attendance and I booed him.

That's an emotional argument and I think most of us are looking for more substanital reasons other than "I didn't like him" for whatever reason.

Sanders was also a financial burden. Jeff George was a locker room cancer. A draft pick was also blown on T.J.. Bruce Smith, while I don't think he was the worst acquisition, probably hindered the development of younger, more deserving players. All of these are "substantial" arguments. I don't want to speak for anyone else, but I'm guessing that some of the people who chose Lloyd aren't just basing their choice on the blown draft picks alone. If Lloyd had a good attitude and had shown some effort like Duckett, I would imagine that he wouldn't have received as many votes. Lloyd was a waste of draft picks and Lloyd was also a creep. Lloyd probably would've been my second choice based on his rapping "skills" alone. He made Deion sound like NAS, but I'm still taking Deion as the worst acquisition. Emotion has a place in arguments about sports and as a Redskins fan, Deion's history with the Cowboys is substantial enough reason for choosing him. Jamie Asher is a close second .

Thank you!! Stubby at least played and started for a few years. Yes he wasn't worth the money but he didn't down right suck. Duckett was bad but he didn't screw up our salary cap. George AT LEAST had one or two good games when Johnson was hurt. Remember the STL game on Mon. night? I honestly can't say one good thing about Brandon Lloyd.

Jeff George's record as a starter: 1-7. I guess that STL game was THE good game he had (24-34/269/3/1).

George's career stats as a Redskin:
136-236 (57.6%), 1557 yds, 7 TDs, 9 INTs, 5 fumbles

Plenty of bad acquisitions, George is just one of them.

That's what I mean. Lloyd had 0 good games. Plus he's messing up our salary cap for 09. Plus we didn't give any draft picks for George. Lloyd is the clear cut winner. But George is just a total dick. I remember him and Marty yelling at each other on the sidelines and Marty cutting him the next day. Classic.
