The St. Louis Rams announced Friday, Feb. 29, that PK Jeff Wilkins will retire. Wilkins ends his career as the Rams' all-time leader in scoring with 1,223 points. His streak of 371 consecutive PATs is the Rams franchise record and tied for best in NFL history with Denver Broncos PK Jason Elam's 371 from 1993-2002.

ESPNews reports the Dallas Cowboys will trade DT Jason Ferguson and a 2008 sixth-round draft choice to the Miami Dolphins for a 2008 sixth-round draft choice and a 2009 sixth-round draft choice.
