look, i know you might be a bit defensive, since this is your thread, and i do actually agree we should draft him if he's there in the 7th round, but he's not the 2nd coming of jerry rice, so let's not over-hype a fairly average college receiver just cause he's sorta tall.
Funny you bring up Rice...while I do not think he is the 2nd coming of Rice (there will never be another Rice), Rice ran a 4.70 40 at the combine.

I would trust this time:

NFL prospects hope to be in fast company at combine | Philadelphia Daily News | 02/21/2008

Jerry Rice was an example of that in later years," Brandt says. "He ran in the low 4.60s at the combine - not a stellar time - but with his equipment on, he probably ran faster than some of the players who would have beaten him in shorts. He was just so strong he carried his equipment well."

Monk is not strong enough to carry the pads on the field... JK
But seriously, he's a very underwhelming athlete. In that run 1st offense with McFadden, Jones and Hillis half of his catches were on play action or trick play passes from D Mac where he was wide open. I say 7th round project.
