Remember that episode (I think it was two seasons ago) when Ana Lucia suspects one of the survivors is lying about having been on the plane and she kills him? I think that was Goodwin. I think it was the season opener.

I think Ben's source on the ship is Michael. And that is the last person I guess the people thought they would see.

It's definitely Michael. We talked about it earlier in this thread. Plus you can tell from the afro in the final shot tonight

Wouldn't it be crazy if it wasn't Michael, but instead it was Walt all grown up. Like he's suddenly their age

In the first episode this season Locke did say that he saw Walt but that he "was taller." Maybe Walt and Michael aged when they left the island because they didn't follow the correct course.

That was because the reason they wrote them out was because Walt was going to grow and they simply couldn't get away from that. The comment from Locke was a nod to everyone who figured this was the reason. It was just a little joke they threw in. Supposedly.

I understand that they just made the joke because Walt is bigger than I am, but not it actually seems like they can use that to advance the story even more.

No doubt. And we saw tonight how Ben brings Juliet back to Goodwin's corpse to rub his power in her face. How they keep letting Ben deceive them over and over and over again is getting kind of old. Jack and Locke and Co. are so smart, yet they cannot help but get suckered repeatedly by Ben. It's annoying at this point.

The backstory tonight with Goodwin's wife was interesting. They've set up two new plotlines in consecutive weeks that have me curious if nothing else.
