tuna, i was in Tampa over thanksgiving, and would move there in a heart beat. beautiful weather, lots to do ( channel-side, ybor city, all kinds of sports, and concerts) very nice people. and St Petersburg beach is one of the nicest in the country. i went swimming when i was there, no problems. and my friends been there 18 years, and only had issues with one hurricane.
