I spent 15 years in beautiful Baytown, Tx (20 mile E of Houston). Summers are indentical, except no 747 mosquito problem. Not real buggy at all. Winters are humidity free (50%) from Nov/Dec-March/April, 75 and Sunny. Meanig no disrespect to Galveston, the gulf water is clear and the beaches are white sand. Very nice
