Supposedly, the knife was left on the bed because the defendants were using it to try to pry things open. They went into the bedroom because that is where Taylor kept his money. I am not a detective, but from what I read, this seems to be a premeditated murder...but my opinion doesn't mean squat in this so called "investigation".
