The way I'm reading this situation is he didn't completely reject us, he just didn't accept our offer, or any other offer he's gotten thus far. He's doing his due diligence, visiting with all interested teams. We weren't willing to throw a pile of money at him. Obviously he's not exactly a hot FA or he'd have a team by now. I could see Carolina getting something done since aside from Smith and an old Mushin Muhammad they have nobody in the passing game. And Tampa has a lot of money to spend.

What about Dwayne Jarret. Carolina drafted him high last year. You would have to think that they are develponig him behind Musin Muhammad.

except they cut him, cause he's terrible and just got a dui. the NFL is a rough place for most 4.7 type WRs.

I didn't know that they cut him. He is still on the roster on their team site.

you're right, my bad. it was threat of a draft day cut and that they really aren't happy with him. that move has not actually been made though. so, i apologize.

Is that what it was? I was about to say, the only person that they announced cutting was Justin Hartwig and before that was Deshaun Foster.
