70Chip I never realized how much schoolhouse rock sounded like schoolhouse folk. I remember like cake, bloodhound gang, and Presidents USA re-made an album with a lot of their songs and I used to listen to it when I was smokin weed in my freinds van in the school parking lot... so it was like we were still getting educations.

It's probably just old fogeyism on my part but I perceive more artistry in those songs than most modern stuff coming out now. The parts of speech songs are all stellar. The baby boomers had a special gift for music, IMO. But I was soaking it in every Saturday morning so maybe I'm just brainwashed in favor of it.
