I dont know why everyone is so against signing him or Pac Man. Both know how to play football, have great skills, and whats the risk?

here me out, you sign Henry, or Pac Man. You give them a heavily incentive laden deal and a short leash. If they dotn perform, or go to jail, you cut them. No cap consequences becuase its incentive laden. If they perform great, dont get in trouble, etc, then you just got a steal on takign a chance on two great athletes.

Do you really think those 'team cancer' guys ruin their teams? Assuming they are on the field. Last I looked, TO got run out of Philly, but did nothign but help him win on the field. So they had newsconferences where they diagreed on what flavor of chunky soup they liked, they still put up points and won...

I see no risk in signing them both, filling two huge holes, and if they get arrested again you cut them and are at the same place you started at.

One thing your missing is the business and public relations side of it. Let's face it. The corporations that spend $ with the Redskins are run by white people. And these people (I bet) frown upon doing business with people that hire thugs. I'm black and I somewhat frown upon it. And the TO example is not a good one. Say what you want about TO but NOT ONCE has he had a run in with the law. IMO that is a big difference.

If Henry is 100% innocent I'd take a look at signing him, but I don't run the team.

I think Moss is the better comparison, with the weed and the running over the female security guard... etc

Henry was arrested four times between December 2005 and June 2006.

- He was accused of possession of marijuana in northern Kentucky (Isn't too big a deal, cops usually break off a bud or two for later)
- Carrying a concealed weapon in Florida (Mistake, tough gun laws in FLA... Switzer was worse though)
- Drunken driving in Ohio (Bad, but can happen to any of us after a few cold ones, we're not marks like he is though)
- Providing alcohol to minors in northern Kentucky. In that case, he served two days in jail in 2006 after pleading guilty to a charge of letting minors drink alcohol in a hotel room he had rented. (He had a hotel party, if he knew they were underage he shouldn't have let them in... he was only 21 at the time bad decision)
-He was in court last week after being ticketed for driving with expired Kentucky license plates. He paid $149 in fines and court costs, according to the Hamilton County Municipal Court records. (Big Deal)
- Latest entanglement. (If guilty he's suspended from NFL so its's a non issue)

He definitely not sqeaky clean, but he'd be a hell of a bargain and fill a big hole in our offense.
