Here's the thing, you can make a living (maybe not a great one) playing music...at any level, but with sports, past the college level, unless you're really amazing, that's it. BUT even knowing that, if I had it to do over again, I would've worked a lot harder starting around 8th grade to become a better athlete.

Is that true about Taylor Swift? That's interesting. I had no idea

Sadly...yes. For every one "Jewel" story (flat broke, slept in her car a lot, took years to get her deal) there are at least 10 deals where $$$ bought their way in...like Taylor. Unlike sports, being excellent at what you do and really talented won't get you all that far in the music biz....it sucks.
