But, we wouldn't merely acquire a 30 year old, we'd also lose out on the opportunity to acquire two 21-23 year olds when we're clearly facing age and depth issues. I'd be surprised if we drafted more than 3 future starters with our current crop of picks (or 2 if we traded our 1st rounder).

I want to emphasize that, although I'd oppose trading 2 high picks for Chad, I don't believe that such a trade would send our franchise down the crapper. I simply think there are very legitimate reasons to be concerned with the rumored offer.

I think it worth the picks. How many WR come out of college and light it up? Not many. So if do you draft a WR, we are looking at 2 to 3 years before they will probably start to contribute. Look at Calvin.

Also, if we pick a WR with 08 and 09 first, I doubt we get a Chad. Plus it seems that this team cant stay together forever, so lets win now and get Chad or Roy.

Ovechkin is overrated so that's no big loss. And to be honest, Ocho Mooby doesn't sound half bad either. And I don't mind the whole first born thing because I don't have any kids so overall sounds good. Just to sweeten the deal we should throw in Laron Landry, safeties are overrated as well and at 23 he's past his peak for a safety.
