I'm a little worried though. His blog is very candid, and he makes no effort to hide his love of the sauce. Don't get me wrong, by reading his blogs I think he and I are pretty similar dudes- work hard play hard- but I really hope his mouth doesn't get him in trouble. He talks about high stakes gambling in casinos with Ryan Boschetti, heavy alcohol consumption, and even throws a little profanity in there.

Again, I personally have NO issue whatsoever with what he's doing, and he's breaking no laws, but he's a pro-bowler now, and has a $30M contract. He's under a microscope, and I just don't want to see him catch any heat from the media, which is bound to happen if he keeps it up.

There's nothing wrong with what he's doing, but he is stupid for writing about it. Don't get me wrong, I love reading it, but it is absolutely foolish for him to be publicly publishing that. All it takes is for him to report to camp 5 pounds over weight, have a few unproductive games, pull a hammy, and he will be crucified for what he wrote.

There's no reason for him to be writing it other than to say, "hey everybody, look how cool I am." Does make you wonder where his priorities lie.
