Re: Saints After Shockey?!
It would be great if they let him go! At the very least it would be great if he holds out of training camp for a little bit and the Giants bench him for week 1! This guy is a real good tight end...........With him out of the game all you have to do is double up Plax, stack the box and see if Eli can beat you! We all know he can't!

Re: Saints After Shockey?!
The two second half drives against us in week 3 that led to TDs weren't luck. All thos eroad wins last season weren't luck. Don't let your hate for the Giants cloud your judgement. Eli is a very good QB. I admit I was totally wrong about him. He has all the tools to be a HOFer.

Consider how well he played throughout the playoffs and don't boil things down to one play. Even then I wouldn't call it luck, he did a great job at escaping the rush and keeping the play alive to just get the throw off. |

Re: Saints After Shockey?!
Oh, you mean the pass where the Pats had like three guys on Eli and some how he brook free and then rolled out and made that throw. OK it was all luck. Not luck. Eli has had his ups and downs and when he got to the playoffs showed he really could lead the Giants which he did. Now will he build on this or fall back to an average QB? Right now as SB Champs I cannot say he was just lucky with the playes he had to make. They did beat a team that had won 18 in a row and one that stomped us into the ground.

Ahhhh no,Look I think I've been pretty realistic in my evaluations of Eli and the Giants but to answer you....the Bucs at their place, the Cowgirls at their place and Greenbay at 10 below and at their place! 11 games won away from home on the road 3 or 4 maybe luck 11 no.Toomer stepped up ,Steve Smith step up so did Tyree and Boss ,no Shockey in sight. If you beleive the Giants can't win without him I have a DVD from2/3/08 if you want to watch it?
