IMO a second round pick has no buisness holding out. I mean, how much more money can he actually demand?

It rarely happens because of exactly what you're suggesting. There's only room to negotiate by a few thousand dollars here and there. In the end it's not worth it, so players decide to just sign up and get into camp.
