Re: Peter King On Jason Campbell

i like PK good read, always love hearing training camp reports from people who see other teams practices as well so theres something to compare it to.

agree that i hope campbell does well this year and being dedicated is definitely a must in this league for quarterbacks. dont want the whole "campbell was a gibbs guy, zorn as a new coach should get to hand pick is own guy" talk to start. and it will if he struggles.

go skins!

I thought the same thing.. The blog on Washington Times always talks about how good of a camp Campbell is having but then the guys on WP Live and Ryan O'Halloran from the WT keep saying how Campbell has a long ways to go. I guess we'll all see over the next couple of months.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Ok, so here's what I'm reading into that: 'Ryan O'Halloran from the WT keep saying how Campbell has a long ways to go' = '19 games, Super Bowl MVP'

Agreed. A lot of fans hate him because his old "Art Monk isn't deserving of the HOF" stance, but he actually switched his stance before the '07 voting began and since then I've grown to like him. He's been a lot less criticizing of the 'Skins lately, they haven't done much that he hasn't liked. I actually don't have a problem with him anymore, but if you had asked me back in the day what I thought about PK I probably would've lumped him in with Len Pasquarelli.

I think he's just more adverse to voicing his anti-Skins opinions than he used to be. I think we, as a fan base, can take credit for that.

Plus, Dr. Z is very admittedly anti-Redskins, so PK sort of has to keep the nation from thinking SI is an anti Skins publication.

No doubt. Did you see this quote from his mailbag the other day?

• From C. Smith of Ashburn, Va.: "Why do you dislike the Redskins so much?"

?" Two words. Daniel M. Snyder. Or is that three words? Linda, can a letter be a word? (No response.)
