I just read somewhere (one of the blogs on the Washington Post's website, I think) that this might open the door for Farve to get unconditionally released from the Packers. I think it's like what happened with McNair and the Titans.

At this point I feel like Farve should just buy and Arena League team and he can play as long as he damn well pleases.

In the end, I think that's just what's going to happen. GB is going to have to release him and then face him twice a year. I just don't understand why GB has such a problem with cutting him. If they're so confident in Rogers and the rest of the team then line up and play him when he goes to Minn. What a bunch of pussies.

Yup I see it the same way. If you're confident enough to move forward without him, but you don't want to face him, that's not exactly a ringing endorsement of Aaron Rodgers to me.

Man up and let him go and be done with it.

I agree with you that they don't want Farve but they do not want to face him twice a year. I don't think they will just release him but rather they will take something less than a 1st round draft pick. I'd like to keep this going and see him show up to camp ready to play football. It would make GB a circus and would be great to watch.

All i know is Murphy is praying that Aaron Rodgers has one helluva season because if he doesnt alot of fans aren't going to be very happy knowing we could have put in a Brett Favre who can obviously still play (especially with his success last year going 13-3). I just can't wait till all this drama is over with
