Yup I see it the same way. If you're confident enough to move forward without him, but you don't want to face him, that's not exactly a ringing endorsement of Aaron Rodgers to me.

Man up and let him go and be done with it.

I agree with you that they don't want Farve but they do not want to face him twice a year. I don't think they will just release him but rather they will take something less than a 1st round draft pick. I'd like to keep this going and see him show up to camp ready to play football. It would make GB a circus and would be great to watch.
